A substantial part of your stay at Nhoma Safari Camp goes to the community for sharing with you their traditional knowledge.
We are proud of the healthy symbiosis between the village and the tourism operation. Besides salaries and bed levies, part of your fee also goes to the village elder for operating on the family's n!ore (their ancestral land). We lease the land from the community.
Furthermore, the income is re- invested with the leading principal to spend investments locally and share the success with the village. This means building as much as possible with local materials with local employment, thereby reducing carbon pollution for transport and generally operating our enterprise as sustainably as possible.
